The Boyolali Police Covid-19 Handling Task Force established a monitoring post to oversee the implementation of public health protocols during the year-end holiday season. This is stated in Circular Number 3 of 2020 the Covid-19 Task Force, which was signed December 19, 2020.
"The regional Covid-19 Handling Task Force, assisted by the public transportation administration authority, is jointly carrying out control of people traveling and safe public transportation for Covid-19 by forming an Integrated Security Post," said Sertu Edy Sarjono.
It was also explained that the authorities, managers and administrators of public transportation assigned supervision during the operation of public transportation. Local governments, ministries / agencies, as well as TNI / Polri, are given the power to stop and / or prohibit someone from traveling if they are deemed to have violated this rule.
The circular contains detailed instructions on the obligations of travelers during the long holiday period from 19 December 2020 to 8 January 2021. It is explained that each traveler is required to bring a rapid antigen test document with a negative result with a period of 3 x 24 hours before departure, if they wish to travel to out of town.
The experience of the previous three holidays, the mobility of residents always triggers an increase in new cases of transmission. Therefore, citizens should be more obedient and disciplined in implementing health protocols.
"Our presence here to help monitor the flow of the New Year holidays homecoming and assisted by the transportation authority and supported by ministries / agencies and the TNI-Polri will ensure this regulation can run effectively and the goal of preventing and reducing Covid-19 transmission can be achieved," concluded Sertu Edy.
