Central Kalimantan BPKP Wins Corruption Free Area Award from KemenPAN-RB

Jakarta (21/12) - Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia KH.  Ma'ruf Amin who was connected virtually delivered directions at the Appreciation and Awarding Ceremony for the Integrity Zone of the Free from Corruption (WBK) / Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) to the Head of BPKP Representative Office for Central Kalimantan Setia Pria Husada along with 763 pilot work units that won awards  WBK / WBBM Integrity Zone.

 BPKP Central Kalimantan representatives successfully won the category as a service work unit with a Corruption Free Area predicate.  The award was handed over directly by the Minister of PAN-RB Tjahjo Kumolo and the Chairman of the KPK-RI Firli Bahuri.  In addition, the Head of BPKP Muhammad Yusuf Ateh was appointed as the Pioneer of the Development of the National Integrity Zone by the PAN-RB Ministry.

 It should be noted, the submission of the Integrity Zone predicate is the final part of a series of development evaluation processes towards WBK / WBBM which have been implemented since August 2020. There are 3,691 service work units from 70 ministries / agencies, 20 provincial governments, and 161 proposed district / city governments.  This activity is a form of appreciation for government agencies and work units that are truly carrying out the construction of the Integrity Zone so that the community gets excellent service and integrity.

 Meanwhile, WBK is a predicate given to work units that meet most of the criteria in implementing the 6 areas of change in the Bureaucratic Reform program and have been able to prevent corruption, collusion and nepotism.  The six areas of change are change management, structuring governance, structuring HR management systems, strengthening supervision, and strengthening performance accountability. ***
