Jakarta, Public Relations of the BPK - Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) and the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) signed a Cooperation Agreement on Utilization of Data from the Health Information System at the BPK Head Office, Jakarta on Tuesday (29/12). The cooperation agreement was signed by the Secretary General of BPK, Bahtiar Arif and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, Oscar Primadi.
In his remarks, the Secretary General of BPK revealed that the signing of this cooperation agreement was a follow-up to the memorandum of understanding between BPK and the Ministry of Health in 2010.
"This cooperation agreement has been built for a long time, the cooperation between BPK and the Ministry of Health is a good collaboration in increasing synergy and collaboration in order to increase the role and benefits of both the BPK and the Ministry of Health," said the Secretary General of BPK after signing the cooperation agreement.
In addition, the Secretary General of the BPK also revealed that this cooperation agreement was also an effort to carry out BPK's vision in the BPK's Strategic Plan (Renstra) for 2020-2024, namely to become a trusted audit agency that plays an active role in realizing quality and useful state financial governance for achieve the goals of the state.
As an audit agency that wishes to play an active role in improving the quality and benefits of state financial governance, BPK is committed to realizing it through strengthening the role of oversight, increasing the role of insight and developing the role of foresight in accordance with the Accountability Organization Maturity Model.
Furthermore, the Secretary General of the BPK explained that the role of oversight is to ensure the management of state finances is in accordance with statutory regulations, is economical, efficient, effective and fair. The role of insight is to provide opinions related to deepening policies and public issues.
In addition, the role of foresight is to be able to help the community and decision makers to choose future or long-term alternatives, so that in the future, the results of the BPK examination are able to provide insightful and / or foresight recommendations with a holistic approach in responding to developments in strategic issues of national development, implementation sustainable development goals (SDGs) and policies on the dynamics of public problems.
This cooperation agreement on Data Utilization from the Health Information System aims to increase the effectiveness of auditing the management and accountability of state finances. Data and / or information on the said cooperation agreement is used for auditing the management and accountability of state finances as well as making studies, analyzes, research, and / or other activities in order to support the implementation of BPK's duties.
Therefore, the Secretary General of BPK hopes that this cooperation agreement can support BPK to become a trusted audit agency that plays an active role in realizing quality and useful state financial governance in achieving state goals.
The signing of the Cooperation Agreement was also attended by the Main Auditor for State Finance VI, Dori Santosa, the Main Directorate for Development and Development of State Financial Audit Law, Blucer Welington Rajagukguk and Middle and Primary High Leadership Officers within the BPK and the Ministry of Health.
